Last week a house burn and the investigators say it was caused by an electric car. Safety an electric car was again questionable.
Chief of fire investigations Fort Bend County, Texas, Robert Baker said that the fire in the house was probably caused by a Fisker Karma electric car in the garage.
Karma is the source of the fire, but what exactly caused it is not known.
According to Baker the owner of the house comes with Fisker Karma after a walk and 3 minutes later the car caught fire. The owner said that before the birth of the fire he had smelled burning rubber.
Fisker Karma burning cases it has become a issue since last year, and Fisker also had to recall and repairs. But the problem is, the new owner bought this car in April, or after the Fisker recall.
The fire spread to the garage and to the second floor above it, though not caused any casualties.
While the fire caused the loss $ 100,000, the price of the new Fisker Karma and that’s not including a Mercedes-Benz SUV and the Acura NSX that were burned too.
